Fruit bible study January 2010

WOULD YOU LIKE A BLESSING?

“All were baptized into Stewart Traill. In every sense of the word: his teaching, his concepts, his view on life, his skepticism of other Christians. Go and learn what this means”.

Blessed is he and blessed is she who is able to get free from the grip of Stewart Traill and the Church of Bible Understanding, and those who are able to overcome his lies and curses will have a great reward.

Fruit Bible Study II

1/17/11 – Reading Chapters with the word “fruit” [Mon Martin Luther King Day]
Mat 3:8 Bear fruit that befits repentance...

Mat 3:16 And when Jesus was baptized, he went up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and alighting on him;

Mat 3:17 and lo, a voice from heaven, saying, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."

Prophecy:

And I say to you my children! And I say to you my children! Do you not know how important it is to know that you are pleasing to the Lord your God?!

It is the breath of life!

It is the strength of your heart!

It is the clarity of your mind!

It is vital to life!

It is vital to strength!

To have a confidence that you are pleasing to the Lord your God!

For how many faiths have been shipwrecked because they had no confidence of Gods great and steadfast love?

This was the biggest poison of The Church of Bible Understanding. (Jan: Wow)

The biggest and the greatest poison was how much Stewart Traill made everyone feel as though they were doing something wrong all the time.

It is oppression (Tod: Yup) of its worst kind.

For how does a child feel if he does not have confidence of his parents’ approval and love? (Jan: He feels rejected. Dave: Rejected and wrecked.)

It is most important for a child of God to see and feel and understand and know that he is pleasing and this is why it is so painful to see the hatred from your brothers and sisters, that they accuse you to your face of things that you are not convicted of. It is the poison from the church of your youth, that they have still embraced, that is still part of their being.

The condescension, the suspicion, the suspicious doubting, the unkind treatment and what I spoke to you yesterday about jealousy, for they see you walking with a cheerfulness about you, for which they do not understand, for they do not have it. (Dave: Yup, Tod: What’s this? It must be bad, let’s kill it! Jan: Watch it. CS: laughing: Tod, We’re reading Mt 3 and Tod knocked me off my balance. Tod: I just woke up, so I’m a little punchy, “I don’t understand this, let me stab it with my knife a few times and see if it’s from God”)

For indeed my children, refreshment, is it not a refreshment to the soul? (Dave: Indeed!) To know that you have been pleasing to the Lord God, your father in heaven? (Tod, Dave, Jan: Yes! Yes Lord God!)

Refreshment, my children, I pour it upon you, as you are sitting before me, I pour upon you, refreshment, now, receive it! (Jan: I receive it)

Say: “Lord God.” (All: Lord God)

Fill me with your refreshment! (All repeat same.)

Fill me with your blessing! (same)

Uphold me with your Spirit! (same)

Uphold me with your great Spirit of patience! (same)

And your great Spirit of kindness! (same)

Uphold me with all things that are good for me! (same)

That I may uphold those whom I love! (same)

Who challenge me! (same)

Who challenge me greatly! (same)

For the Lord your God loves you my children and the Lord your God is with you!
(Tod: Thank you Lord)

And the Lord your God healed you and grants you the things that belong to him!

For the Lord your God does not get weary! Ha!

The Lord your God does not lose patience over his stubborn children! (Dave: Wow, man! Jan: Thank you Lord!)

Can you look my children, upon those who hate you, and smile and wish them a blessing? (Tod: Not regularly, Dave: Yes!)

I say unto you, this my children is a challenge and this my children is a blessing.

For you to look into the eyes of those who you know despise you and love them! (Dave: cracking up: like when Jan said to the brother at the reunion: “Yeah, I got my feet washed and my head oiled!” CS: Dave’s sitting over here having a little laugh fest about Jan telling the brother about having her feet washed, “Oh, it was wonderful” bubbly Jan, sharing her blessing. Jan: He walked away disgusted. CS: Laughed: Oh well, at least your were bearing witness about your blessing and the joy Jesus gave you in it.)

Prophecy:

But I say unto you, “Blessed are you if you are able to walk in the face of their suspicious doubting, mistrust, and hatred and still love on them.” (Tod: It ain’t easy Jan: Give me that love Lord!)

This is steadfast love. Steadfast love is not variable. (Tod: Hence the term: steadfast)

Hence the term my son: continuous! Ha,ha,ha,ha! Without mountains, valleys, or pitchforks! (laughing: CS: I have no idea what that means. Tod: Was that, “Mountains, valleys or pitchforks?” CS: I don’t know about the pitchforks, but I can see the mountains and the valleys. Jan: I can see the stabbing. Tod: I can see the pitchforks!)

[laughing:] Indeed! You see the pitchforks! HA! No matter what, love covers a multitude of sins! (I Pe 4:8)

For even if my children are imperfect, (Jan: Yes) love is perfect! (Dave: Yes! Jan: Wow)

Love does not depend upon the perfection of its desire. (Tod: Indeed, Jan: Yes, I see that) and there is no fear in it! (Dave: Perfect love casts out fear. 1 Jn 4:18)

There is no fear in it! You boldly walk into the midst! (Dave and Tod: At the reunion, we sure did!)

Indeed! For indeed, your brother Chris has spoken and said, “You don’t go witnessing!” HA! (Jan: laughed)

Your very existence has been a witness! (Dave: Yup Jan: Yes!)

What is a witness my children? It is your next word after “fruit”! What is a witness? (Tod: A witness is someone who’s seen something and testifies to it.)

Indeed, but I say to you it is more. (Jan: It is who we are, our very being)

A witness my children, is someone who understands what’s going on and not just one who sees it. For I tell you, if 20 people witness the same event you will have 20 different opinions. (Dave: Yep Tod: And yet we all feel the same)

But I say unto you, a witness is one who sees and is able to articulate what he or she saw and who does not allow ...(household distraction)

Indeed, my children, a truthful witness is one who is not swayed by the voice of others, who lets something stand on its own:

‘Have I seen this person doing this?’

‘Have I seen this person doing that?’

‘You speak to me and say, 'that this person is this', 'and this person is that', yet I have to see them doing it or I will not trust your testimony.’

Exo 20:16 "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

They have been trusting the testimony of false witnesses, so I say unto you:

A truthful witness is a blessing!

A truthful messenger!

Who would want to send a messenger who’s going to lie about the situation? (Dave: No body)

And if you ask somebody to tell you, you want a reliable witness.

False witnesses have risen up against me, save me Lord God! (Ps 27:12, Mt 26:60, Ac 6:13) Save me Lord God from false witness! (Ps 6:4, Ps 7:1, Ps 31:16, Ps 55:16, Ps 71:3, Ps 109:26, Jer 17:14) (Jan: Yes Lord God)

Save me Lord God from false witness! (same)

And let those who witness falsely, be exposed! (same) (CS: That’s intense! Jan: That’s my prayer! CS: That those who witness falsely be exposed? Jan: Yeah, because..that’s what I was looking for.)

Prophecy:

What is it to be pressed? (CS: To feel that there’s pressure on you. Jan: Yes Dave: You feel like you have to make a decision.)

When one is pressed it is an oppression of the mind, the body, the soul, the spirit, and the strength. That is what it is to be pressed.

Stewart Traill oppressed!

Those who are in his charge: oppress!

It is what they do!

It is what they eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner: 365 days a year!

It is what they approve of.

It is what they delight in.

They do not know any other way, and so were some of you, (Jan: Um hum)

That you walked in oppression.

That you gargled with it, so that your breath would smell of its essence!

And yet I say to you my children, hope is not lost, for there will be some who find it in themselves and will hear a small still voice, (I Ki 19:12) and will come forth to be blessed!

“Who will it be my children?”

“Who will take the challenge?”

“Who will walk in a way that is opposite of what they have learned?”

Who among the many who have heard your testimony Jan and it lit upon them like fire in their bosom, setting their whole being to flame, for this is the effect of peace upon one who is being called, it presses you, or should we say, it impresses upon you?

(CS: We just finished reading Mt 3 down to verse 8 “Bear fruit that befits repentance”)

Prophecy:

And indeed my children! And indeed my children! What is the fruit of someone who is repentant? (Jan: an honest heart, an honest answer.)

It has to do my daughter, and it is true, with truth: Truth and honesty are hand in hand.

To bear fruit that befits repentance, one must acknowledge their wrong doing. (Tod: Yes! CS: Every example in scripture shows this)

And I say unto you, this is another reason why, the church of untended hearts (referring to Cobu) was so harmful, because if you are constantly feeling condemned, how can you look upon the things that you’ve done wrong?

In your mind it would sweep you further under: into misery, doubt, frustration, (Dave: Oh, man!) condemnation, oppression.

Those who are oppressed cannot repent because the mere mention of doing something else wrong makes you feel: “Guilty! Guilty! Guilty!”

For they do not trust in his saving power. (Ps 78:22)(Dave: Yep)

Those who have lived in condemnation have not tasted the fruit of peace.(Job 21:25, Ps 34:8, Ps 119:103, Zec 8:12, Gal 5:22)

They cannot bear the fruit of repentance because they cannot bear up to the pain of being rejected, because there’s no love, there’s no peace! (Jan: Wow! Dave: Gees, Wow!)

So I am saying unto you, they do not have the capacity to bear fruit that befits repentance:

because they cannot bear to look at their own unfaithfulness,

or their own idiosyncrasies,

or their own failures,

or their own failings,

because there is no trust that they can be lifted,

There is no faith.

They cannot bear fruit that befits repentance my children, if they are in a state of oppression.

Ninety percent of your brethren are in a state of oppression.
(Dave: Oh man)

And by your appearance and your coming, you oppress them.

For you make them aware of their falsehood and they can't bear to look at it for they do not understand forgiveness. (Dave: wow)

(Jn 6:28 Then they said to him, "What must we do, to be doing the works of God?" Jn 6:29 Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.")

And indeed my children, they live in a works mentality and they oppress themselves all the more:

'We have to go witnessing'

'we have to go to church'

'we have to do a zeal pill'

'dot our "i's",

'cross our t's'

'bend over 16 times'

'say 'hail Mary'

So I am saying to you my children:

There is no peace among the oppressed.

The oppressed, my children, do not trust in a loving father, they don't know him.

I hope you are understanding what it means to have a father with a stick and how fortunate you are that the true father has been revealed to you.

That you can see your failures and not be swept away!

(Tod: Wow! Jan: That is so awesome!)

Rom 14:23 But he who has doubts is condemned,... because he does not act from faith; for whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.

Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

So how my children, do you see someone who is oppressed?

Who can't look at their failures?

And teach them who I am?

How do you take someone who is living in utter sin (having no faith)

And sins constantly.

And lies.

And cheats.

And steals.

And oppresses.

And smile at them and say, "God loves you".

While they're lying and cheating and stealing and oppressing? Do you see the paradox?

(Dave, Tod, Jan: Yes, CS: So do I. That was intense you guys. Jan: That was intense, cause we can only do that with the Holy Spirit. Tod: That was intensity in ten cities. Jan: Wow! CS: That was after reading:

Matthew 3:8 Bear fruit that befits repentance.)

Prophecy:

What part of the recent prophesy explains this behavior? (CS: That they can't look at their flesh cause they'll get wiped out?)

They can't look upon your brightness, because they will get wiped out.

They do not want to see it in their midst.

They did not want to see it on their list.

And yet some have expressed that they miss it, a curious fact, sometimes you do not realize what you have until it is taken away.

And I say to you that Judas, would he not have had much the same regret? (Dave: Yup, CS: So they're like Judas?)

That I am not saying, but I am saying, this is how it works:

you ignore your conscience and then you get driven in directions,

for when you have no peace and you have no anchor,

you are driven and then after you are driven, you do something, (Jan: right)

or something happens and then all of a sudden there is regret,

for while you are being driven you do not see, that you will lose what you think you have, is that not what is written? (Dave: Yup)

Even what you think you have, shall be taken away (Lk 8:18)

And some have regrets about the way you were treated on the list, but they saw it heading in a direction and they did not speak up.

Now, that sides have been taken, positions are firm, some wish that they had said, "Hey, let's let cooler heads prevail here" but it is too late.

(Dave: Yep, Jan: wow! CS: That's still after reading Mt 3

Mat 7:5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

Prophecy:

For indeed my children, judgment has to do with a lack of sight.

Judgment has to do with not seeing the Lord God clearly.

Not understanding who the Lord is

and thinking him a judge

and that you being his children are little judges.

but I say unto you, the Lord does not observe,

he sees many things but does not observe them, (Is 42:20)is who Jesus is!

And Jesus said, 'If you see me than you see the father also.(Mt 11:27, Lk 10:22, Jn 8:19, Jn 14:7)

He who sees the father is he who is not into judgment.'(Jn 5:22, 1 Co 2:15, 1 Co 11:31, Mt 7:1,2, Lk 6:37) For the Lord Jesus said, 'Mercy triumphs over judgment' (Jas 2:13) (Dave: Yes!)

Jesus is mercy and grace! (2 Jn 1:3, Heb 4:16, 1 Ti 1:2, 2 Ti 1:2, Mt 10:37, Rom 9:16)

Jesus is mercy and grace!

Mercy triumphs over judgment and it embraces you. (Dave: hum)

Mercy settles your heart. (Dave: Amen and amen!)

Mercy and peace settle your heart and your mind. (2 Jn 1:3, Jud 1:2)

Mercy triumphs over judgment and has to do with peace.

Mat 9:13 Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

Mat 12:7 And if you had known what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the guiltless.

Jesus is not about sacrifice. The sacrifice acceptable to the Lord is a broken spirit. (Ps 51:17)

What is it like to have a broken spirit, has to do with the ability to have softness and not hardness. One who is hard hearted is one who does not bend. He is brittle, harsh, a hard stick. The Lord your God does not march around his children with a hard stick, but he said, 'I cover you with my pinions, I gather you like a hen gathers a broud'

I say to you, the reason why one who is judgmental has poor sight, is because he cannot see who God truly is. Therefore he has his measuring tape out and he is constantly measuring himself and measuring those around him and he is constantly saying:'I don't measure up, but you sure as heck don't measure up', but Jesus is saying, the sacrifice of acceptance:
Accept one another, as Christ has accepted you.

Welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you.

Allow the Lord to embrace you, that you might embrace others.

One who is judgmental is constantly looking for things that are wrong.

He is not looking for things that are right.

He is constantly oppressed and oppressing.

He cannot rejoice.

He who has the Spirit of God has a joyful heart, and a joyful countenance.

How can one who is constantly thinking of 'the strictures' (a hard and fast rule, unbending, sternly critical within everyday life) be able to think of joy?

(Dave: He can't. CS: We've been reading down to

Mat 7:5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.)

Prophecy:

I say unto you my children, what is holy to you, is unclean to someone who does not see as you do.

So I say unto you, what you value and what means the most to you, may not mean the same thing to someone else.

Like when the brother at the reunion could not understand why you (Jan) were talking so joyfully about getting your feet washed, to him it was as though you were coming from a different planet.

And I say unto you my daughter, this was a pearl to you. This was something that you subjected yourself to, you tested it, and you came forth from it with joy.(Jan: Yeah!)

And therefore, it was something that you couldn't help but bubble about, like a child who just had his first ice cream sundae. (Dave: chuckles Jan: Yeah, that's what I felt like)

(In a fast, high, squeeky voice to describe what Jan was like:) 'I just had an ice cream sundae, and it was good, and I just had it and it was just so yummy, and yummy, and yummy' while he's looking at you like, 'I'm not allowed to eat ice cream' (Jan: Yeah, (chuckles), he's not allowed to eat ice cream!)

And yet I say unto you, it was a pearl to you, but to him, he looked at you as though you had lost your mind.

(CS: The morning of the 2010 reunion, the Lord counseled us to meet together and receive the oil blessing and the washing of our feet. We were all filled with the joy of God's Holy Spirit and Jan couldn't help but witness of this blessing even though the brother she told couldn't relate nor understand.)

And what I say unto you is, do not give something that is precious and valuable, (Mt 7:6) to those who cannot appreciate it.

Indeed, would you give a filet mignon to your dog?

Would you put a white table cloth and a glass of wine before your dog?

Would you put a thousand dollar bottle of wine in front of your dog?

Would you put something that is very valuable, like a china set in front of a pig? They would smash it.

They wouldn't understand its value.

And I am saying to you, be careful what you share, and you don't need to share a thirty page Bible Study with someone who can bearly handle one sentence, but if there is a paragraph, that you think may be helpful, then consider sharing that.

Be not afraid. Do not be afraid, for the counsel of the Lord is upon you!

Lift up your hands my children!

(Then in a louder voice:) The counsel of the Lord is upon you, to bless you and strengthen you!

Seek the Lord:

That the Lord may strengthen you!

That the Lord may lift you!

That the Lord may give you wisdom!

That the Lord might open your eyes!

That he might give you clarity of heart and mind and soul and body!
(Dave: Yes Lord, yes!)

Strength upon strength!

Blessing upon blessing!

Comfort upon comfort!

Healing upon healing!

A multitude of blessings be poured upon you my children, for the Lord your God wishes to bless you, that you might bless!

Comfort you, that you might comfort!

Strengthen you, that you might strengthen!

Uphold you, that you might uphold!

Finish you, that you might be finished!

Complete you, that you might be complete!

Bless you, that you might be a blessing!

Why is it that the angels say constantly: "HALELUJAH!"? Why!? Why!? Why!?

Because in their blessing, in their pronouncement of blessing, they lift up their countenance and receive a blessing!

He who is blessed, is able to bless.

He who is able to hear a blessing, is able to give a blessing!

He who is able to walk in peace, is able to give peace!

He who is able to open his cup, is able to pour his cup.

He who pours his cup, is able to receive a cup again!

Good measure, shaken together, poured into your lap!

I give you a blessing!

The Lord your God is fully accepting!

You are fully accepted!

He who is accepted, he who accepts himself, is able to accept!

Do not give dogs what is holy.

Do not throw your pearls before swine.

The joy of the Lord is a pearl, and I give it to you.

Receive the joy of the Lord.

That you might give the joy of the Lord.

And do not let those who would trample your joy, have it, this is what they found offense in, in your testimony. (CS: They take offense at the joy of the Lord?!)

You spoke about the truth, about those who trampled your pearl, and they turned to attack you and you needed to be lifted up from the attack.

You my daughter (Jan) and your sister who assisted you (Cynthia) spelled out and painted a picture, that every XCOBU brother and sister understood, and it made them fear, the wisdom of it. The wisdom of protecting your heart from those who would wound you.

The enemy does not want the brethren from The Church of Bible Understanding, or of Untended Hearts, to understand that they are able, like you, to be lifted up.

And, that even if someone wounds them, that there is a way to receive peace.

To them it is sacrilige. To those who live in the ash heap continually, it was too vivid.

It was a pearl. It was a blessing. Make no mistake, those who were able to receive it, it blessed.

Pray for those who were able to receive it, that they might seek that which you received.

(CS: We're reading Matthew 7, down to verse 6

Mt 7:6 "Do not give dogs what is holy; and do not throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under foot and turn to attack you.)

Mat 7:12 So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

Prophecy:

And this I will say again to you my children, whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.

For they are doing to you what they would not like others to do to them.

They are doing to you something harsh, why?

Because they have listened to a harsh voice.

So, I say unto you my children, do unto others as you would them do unto you.

Be kind to even the ungrateful and the selfish.

This is why you sent the birthday box.

You gave to them, what they did not give to you.

You gave them a blessing.

Although they have spread far and wide: that you led them astray. (Dave: Yep)

How do you teach those who have become your enemy, the truth?

How do you teach those who have accepted a lie?

How can you change the heart and the mind of those who are of a different heart?

There is a human saying, 'he who is of an opinon, if you try to show him differently, he will be of the same opinon still.

It was like when you tried to show Chris, Michael Moore's movie (Fahrenheit 9/11). You wanted him to see that there were things that they should know about, that you had just learned in seeing it. You were looking at it as a document. As those who had to document things accurately or they would be sued.

They could not look at it because they had already hooked their car to a train and they were not going to depart from it.

They did not have the ability to look at anything other than what they already accepted. (Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are plain:...party spirit...)

And so, they had to turn you into a villan for trying to change their opinion.

He was grately offended that you had tried to show him something other than what he had already accepted.

Those whose minds are already darkened are not able to be enlightened.

When the Lord your God opened your eyes and spoke to you and you were convinced that it was the Lord your God. And you saw what he was saying to you, because your eyes were opened and then you said that you wanted to show it to your brethren and I told you that they couldn't see it, but you were convinced that they would see it, and then when you shared it with them, they didn't see it and you were disappointed. (Dave: Yeah, grately.)

This is why, not throwing your pearls before swine is in the same chapter about judgment and about sight.

Because those who are brittle, who have strictures, cannot see a joyful father.

Cannot rejoice with you, over what you rejoice over.

When you put oil on the forehead of the Rizzetto's, you were grately blessed that they might have their eyes opened and yet immediately the doubts swallowed them back into their narrow view and they looked at you as someone who was trying to take from them, what they valued.

Those who hold on to a narrow view, if you try to pry it open, you get your feelings hurt.

When they see, 'enter by the narrow gate' they think that the narrow gate is their narrow view.

But I am saying to you, that the narrow gate has to do with being able to see clearly, who God really is, that not that many people are able to see the God that you see. He has himself to you, but you haven't revealed him to others, and then they see you as crazy.

(Dave: And not many people see God the way we do and so far, our mission is to try to help them see who God is, but they don't want any part of it. Jan: You have to seek after him to find him. Dave: In other words he's trying say that, the narrow gate in their mind is what they've been taught by Stewart Traill, so to try to move them off that, when that's all they accept, they're like: 'How dare you try to move me from my view.' Chris said we tried to lead him astray: 'Well, Dave Simmons is leading us astray, he didn't want to go witnessing.' So what God is saying is, they're taking their view of God, which they got from Stewart, and they're sticking to it, lock stock and barrell, no matter what. Then God is saying what the narrow view is.)

Mat 7:12 So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them; we hadn't read the second half of the verse.

Prophecy:

This is the law, what does it mean? "This is the law", I say to you, as you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.

This is what made your ministry palatable.

You saw them in their worst and yet, instead of pointing out their worst, which they were aware of, you embraced them and smiled at them and changed their minds about themselves!

You helped them to see that they were pleasant.

You helped them to see that they were God's children.

You shined light where there was darkness and lifted them up when they were oppressed.

(Even Chris said when questioned why they stayed with us for 20 years, answered: "Because it helped my wife." Our ministry lifted the oppression, the rememnants of COBU, the gifts or should I say curses, that kept on giving.)

This is the law, because this is the only way to take out of their eye the speck.

The speck prevents them from seeing God clearly.

The speck prevents them from seeing the love of God.

The speck prevents them from seeing the love of God for them.

The speck prevents them from seeing you for who you really are.

The speck is a prevention of understanding the holy of holies.

The speck is what makes God's people act like dogs.

The speck is what makes God's people act like swine.

Dogs and swine are not respecters of anything.

They trample over that which is lovely.

If a dog went out into a muddy field, he would not think twice about jumping on a white cotton sheet.

You would think twice about it because you would have to clean it and you would have to bleach it, but a dog has no respect for a white cotton sheet.

A dog has no concern about keeping his garments clean.

How do you get your garments clean, if those who are wearing them have no concern for them?

I am saying, if there's a speck in your brothers eye:

He cannot see God.

He cannot see himself.

He cannot live in peace.

The law is that if there is a speck there, the vision is hindered and yet my children, this is why you are imperfect, for if you were perfect you could not learn.

If you were perfect, everything would be without any problem.

Problems teach you.

Having imperfections is what helps you to learn, to grow, to see, to understand.

When you see, you see everything and yet, when you show love, or show gentleness, or show kindness, or are joyful, or have peace and you're able to give these things, then those in your midst are able to receive a blessing, but how can you bless, when those around you are throwning mud upon you?

A brother said 'How can you teach them if you're blowing a trumpet, or if you are doing the same thing that they are doing?', but he did not understand what I was doing. To him it was a clashing gong. It was a pointing of the finger, that he could not have dealt with.

(Cynthia: So what does he mean, the law? Whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them, this is the law, Dave: and the prophets. Cynthia: In other words, prophets are supposed to help you to understand God, or to open your eyes, Dave: Correct Cynthia: to see. Doing unto others, like one of the things that I kept asking in my letter to the sister, was, 'Well, how would you feel if somebody did this to you?' I was saying: 'I wasn't treated fairly, how would you like it if you were treated as I was treated?' Dave: That's the point of it all. Cynthia: That they weren't fair? Dave: Right. Cynthia: And so, the law is: if you treat others the way you want to be treated, then you're gonna be kind, you're gonna be pleasant, then you're gonna be joyful, then you're gonna be gracious, and you're gonna tread softly, you're not gonna try to open their eyes and show them stuff that they're not able to see. You're not gonna be offensive. They've accused us of being offensive, or offending them, while offending us all over the place. Dave: Right, so in other words what he's saying is: So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them. I want someone to be kind to me, so you be kind. If you want someone to be patient with you, then you be the patience. So what he's teaching here is, he's summing up the whole old testament.

WOULD YOU LIKE A BLESSING?
